O in 4 Project: Putting Violence against women in a museum
Purpose of this project is to actualize some of the
strategic visions developed from the 1 in 4 Project.
1) Revise the Sexual Assault Protocol
First meeting is set for September 12th, 2007 where we will
be working out the who. what, when, where, whys and hows of
it all.
2) Workshop on the intersection of Family & Criminal Court
We have started collecting names for panel members and hope
to be sorting out those details in the next few weeks.
I'll be sending out an 'Advance Notice' flyer so help
spread the news.
3) Violence against women: Whose problem is in anyway?
The Youth Talks are coming together nicely. Work is
underway to talk to the schools. The Appreciative Inquiry
ground work is being developed so that we can build from a
position of strength & what's working.
4) Youth Web page
This will flow from the summits.

Cyber Safety Patrol Project
The purpose of this project is to keep our youth safe while
surfing the net.
1) Include internet luring & predators as part of the
revised Sexual Assault Protocol
Research will begin shortly on this side of things.
2) Cyber Safety Patrol Contest & Media Campaign
I have no doubt this group is busy in the workshop building
a great contest and campaign.
3) Cyber Safety Training
Work on this will start in mid-October.

Network of Support Project (L & G VCARS)
Objective: To lessen the impact of crime and trauma
through support services to victims.
1) Identify Funding Providers
The responses are coming back from the churches. Next step
is to be in touch with the remaining service clubs.
Thank you to the First Presbyterian Church for helping with
a victim in need.
